Driving through a large amount of water might trap some of the water in the bell housing and cause it to drip out later.
There are also freeze plugs in the back of the engine block that may be leaking. Is it water or coolant.
a categoric "no."
If you mean crank pulley, the water pump has failed.
on a 5.0 you need to remove air cleaner housing, fan shroud, fan, belt, fan belt housing ,bottom & top hose ,small hose to pump and thermostat housing L shape, remove all bolts to pump ,mostly all bracket bolts to right side of you to slip the water pump housing pin underneath it ,put a new thermostat and gasket while you are at it !!!
The motion of water will be spherical.
If you follow the bottom radiator hose you will see that it hooks to a housing on the water pump. The thermostat is behind that housing. Remove the 3 bolts.
Yes, a dishwasher should have a small amount of water in the bottom to help with the cleaning process and to prevent the heating element from burning out.
If you follow the bottom radiator hose to the left front of the engine. You will see where it clamps onto a housing, it is inside of that housing and I think the housing has 2 or 3 bolts that hold it to the water pump. Remove them.
On that Model year their is a small drain on bottom of the fuel filter. Its located back left of engine and is the only filter for the fuel system. It doubles as main filter and water seperator all in one housing. Good luck
It could be a bad water pump if it's leaking out the weep hole at the bottom of the water pump.
If you accidentally pour a small amount of water into the transmission, it can lead to contamination of the transmission fluid, potentially causing shifting issues and damage to internal components. Water can cause rust and corrosion, impair lubrication, and reduce the efficiency of the transmission. It's important to address this issue promptly by draining and replacing the contaminated fluid to prevent further damage.
Sorry to say but it's the pump gone bad.
Just follow the lower / bottom radiator hose to the engine and you will see where it clamps on a housing that has 3 bolts that hold it onto the water pump. The thermostat is inside of that housing.
