Shouldn't be a problem, you will probably need to change the oil pan and pickup tube.
If you have the 22r engine, it is at the top of the front passenger side of the engine near the timing cover. If you have a 22RE then the pump is in the tank.
In the 1986 Toyota 22R 4x4 pickup, the computer, often referred to as the Engine Control Unit (ECU), is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side. It's usually mounted on the firewall or near the steering column. Accessing it may require removing some panels for better visibility and reach.

You can find the 1993 Toyota oil drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan. The oil drain plug will be in the center of the oil pan, near the front.
sorry but no,the 22r version of the 4runner will work though
4.11 I believe. Good enough to roll 31's on stock 22r.
If it is a 22r four cylinder there are 6. three on the left, two on the right and one on the back. The one on the back is hard to change because the transmission must be dropped.
you cannot use that head you will never get the timing in engine right The head of an 85 4x4 is the same as on 86 2wd pickup are the same on 22r or 22re. the only difference is the fuel pump has been capped off for the 22re. You probably got the head from a 4x4 with a different engine.
in a pick up it will if it is 4X4 you need to make sure the gear is the same as in the front end
