It is possible
If the engine light on your 2005 Acura MDX remains on after a throttle body replacement, it could indicate a few issues. Ensure that the new throttle body is correctly installed and that all sensors, such as the throttle position sensor, are properly connected. Additionally, check for any vacuum leaks or error codes using an OBD-II scanner, as these can provide clues to the problem. If the light persists, it may require further diagnostics to identify any underlying issues unrelated to the throttle body.
check your camshaft sencor and your crankshaft sencor.
Check the black hose between the throttle body and intake manifold.Check the black hose between the throttle body and intake manifold.
Yo need to check the powers and grounds to the engine computer
NO there is no ADJUSTMENT on the TBI / Throttle body. If the check engine light is on then you need to have the engine scanned with an engine scanner to see what is going on with the emissions system / engine sensers.
Yes, particularly the throttle position sensor. But it could also be literally thousands of other things.
If you have a check engine light on, check the codes first. If not, check for vacuum leaks, especially the throttle body base gasket.
Throttle body spacers increase the air volume between the engine and the throttle body.
Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
First check your throttle body sensor and then your (iac) motor. Last but not least it could be your plenum gasket or a leak in your vacuum system
The only sensors that I am aware of on the throttle body is the throttle position sensor.
A large intake manifold leak. Check the boot at the throttle body.
