I've been shopping for the same starter that you mention B&S 393488. I have found one website that does cross reference the 396506 in their ad for their kit. Spidermarinedotcom is their name and so far they are the only ones showing it for sale at all, that I have found and it is gawdawful expensive. Hope this helps.
