its either a fuse, or the turn signal switch needs to be replaced
1997 Lumina. Hazard lights cruise control blinkers tail lights work. Brake lights do not. Replaced activating switch and turn signal switch bulbs fuse checked for corrosion and broken wires. Pls help?
To replace turn signal control module requires removing steering wheel. Took mine to a dealer - $245 out the door. Brake lights work great now.

It's the turn signal switch at the steering wheel, that is the problem. Very exspensive to get replaced,and to hard for an amuture to do. If you have checked all fuses and bulbs sounds like ur turn signal switch in ur steering wheel. I had the same problem and was switch.
