It's the turn signal switch at the steering wheel, that is the problem. Very exspensive to get replaced, and to hard for an amuture to do.
If you have checked all fuses and bulbs sounds like ur turn signal switch in ur steering wheel. I had the same problem and was switch.
Check bulbs?
you need to change the multifunctional switchthis happened to mine to
It's the turn signal switch which is the culprit.
It depends on the exact problem. If it's that both brake lights in the back do not work and the middle one works, it could be your turn signal switch.
it is the turn signal stalk. here is a good writup for repair. http://tss.likeabigdog.com/
My rear window brake light works, but not my tail light brakes on my 1997 Monte Carlo. What is the problem?
its gotta be a ford a problem with the center brake light circuit causes the lights to go out i believe it is a diode
The left brake light works the right brake light doesn't and the bulbs is good
The ground for the brake lamp. When the tail lights are off, the tail light circuit can act as a ground for the brake light. When the tail lights are on, it can't.
Try the turn signal switch in the steering column. I know it sound stupid but that is the problem and they are not cheap. At a service shop besides a dealer you are probably talking around $200+. I had the same problem, sometimes the rear brake lights would work and sometimes not but window light always worked. Good Luck
the turn signal switch is probably bad
your brake light switch is probably out
