you will need to swap intakes too. or i think someone might make adapter plates for the throttle body but im not sure.
it will work but u have to make sure if u have a fuel injection system that u get a fuel injected 305 or if u have a carbeurated engine that u get a carb 305 or else it won't match up
yes it will you would use the intake and carb and you would loose the fuel injection un less you swap heads
Depending on weather it has the 305 V8 Or weather it has the 4.3 V6. If it has the 4.3 then it will have throttle body fuel injection. On the 305 It will have a carburated.
Chevy had cross ram fuel injection in 1982 on their 305 camaros
Take breather off an read on carb if clean. Count jets in carb. Read sticker near radiator on top if stock an still readable. Assumin its not fuel injection
On a 92 van it should be a throttle body fuel injection set up and they need 9-14 psi. If it is a carb it would be 3.5-4 psi
in the fuel inlet on the carb.
NO, intake will not fit.
Need more info Model Year Carb TBI throttle body injection or MPI multi port injection
You can change your 1986 305 cubic inch pickup engine from a carburetor to fuel injection. The problem with doing so is the cost. It might cost more to do the change than it would to purchase an engine.
on a carb engine the fuel filter is on the front of the carb. follow the 3.8 line from the fuel pump (lower pass side) it will come up to the carb and there will be a 5/8" threaded end on it. loosen the tube nut and threaded into the carb there will be a 1" fitting loosen and remove it from the carb and along with asmall amount of fuel the filter will fall out.
engine will fit, but 305 tbi will be too lean for 350 It'll burn up
