Gasoline(petrol) producers can use slightly different recipes for making gasoline, and those recipes change depending on the time of year. The main components of gasoline are hydrocarbons in their liquid state. This "straight" gas has an octane rating of about 40 which was acceptable back in 1930 but modern engines are usually designed to run on either unleaded(87 octane) or super-unleaded(93 octane) though some engines are "smart" enough to run both.

To achieve these octane ratings producers add a huge cocktail of compounds to the fuel for various different reasons, increase octane ratings, detergents for cleaning carbon deposits and such from the engine, stabilizers to allow the petrol a longer shelf life, oxygenates to ensure that the fuel burns cleanly minimizing carbon monoxide production and lastly among others, additives to increase fuel efficiency.

The production of gasoline is fairly heavily regulated with any new compounds to be put into petrol being analyzed by health and safety.

It is possible that Exxon might give better mileage than other brands but the difference would be minimal and i would recommend finding the cheapest pumps local to your area rather than brand loyalty

What gas stations accept exxon mobil gas cards?

Exxon and Mobil are two gasoline companies that merged in 1999. Since then, each one accepts the other's credit cards. But in addition to Exxon stations and Mobil stations, there are some independent gas stations that make arrangements with one company or the other to accept their credit card. There is no rule about this-- the gas stations that make this arrangement will post it near the pump, usually with a sign that says "we accept the Exxon Mobil card here."

Why is gasoline important?

Electric vehicles are more important, and better for our planet. Just think about it, whenever you pump gas into your car/s, you are inadvertently funding terrorism. The Gas companies (BP, EXXON, to name a few) don't want you changing to an electric car. Why? Because their profits (billions of dollars) would stop. To sum it up, gasoline was never important. Yeah, it made our cars, generators, and other appliances work, but at the same time, every gallon of gas we drove off, created 20 pounds of Carbon Dioxide. You DO know that Carbon Dioxide is poisonous, right? Imagine what that does to our planet, the wildlife, and us. You. Everyone. Gasoline sucks. The faster we get off of our dependency, the better.

Fry's Gas is not considered a top-tier gasoline brand. Top-tier gasoline refers to fuel that contains a higher level of detergent additives, which can help prevent engine deposits and maintain optimal engine performance. While Fry's Gas may meet minimum regulatory requirements for gasoline, it may not offer the same level of detergent additives as other top-tier brands such as Shell, Chevron, or Exxon.

Which is better leaded gasoline or unleaded gasoline?

It depends what you mean by 'better'. Lead used to be added to gasoline to stop pre-ignition or detonation (which causes engine knock or 'pinking') but it was found to have very bad side effects environmentally and physiologically. most countries have banned the use of leaded gasolines, and modern gasoline have other ways of dealing with detonation. so i guess, unless you like bad air and bad health, unleaded is best.
