Chevy 350 bored 60 over.
....
not the best way to come to a 358... The "NASCAR" way is to use a 400sbc block and a 327sbc crank. High revving and big hp up top.
Chevy did not build a Malibu in 1995.
This is the block casting number for a Chevy 305, build between 1976 and 1979.

I am searching for 409 chevy engine
From scratch it would be nearly impossible unless you have a machine shop and a ton of money and time at your disposal. You could however build an engine from store bought parts to fit your needs. I recommend building a small block chevy engine as they are relatively simple and parts are easy to locate and are not that expensive. There are lots of books out there that show you step by step on building the small block chevy.
That totally depends on how MUCH MONEY your wanting to spend. Myself I wouldn't spend any money on a 305 engine. I would get me a good 350 engine to build.
Find a good frame/body. Then get a good shop to build engine/tranny/diff. If you know what your doing start putting it together, if not get a good local shop to!
