To change the Power Steering pump on a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal and drain the power steering fluid. Remove the serpentine belt by loosening the tensioner, then detach the pump's hoses and mounting bolts. Install the new pump by reversing the removal process, ensuring all connections are secure, and refill the power steering fluid before testing the system for leaks.
Most power steering fluid is the same, only different brand names. Call your local Isuzu dealer if you are not sure.
