I have a 1969 Jeepster Commando with a Buick 225 V6, the forerunner to the legendary Buick 231 V6 still used today, with a Duetsch D431 oil filter. It will probably fit any Buick V6 ever made.
It varied from a 225 dauntless v6 to 401 nailhead v8

How do you replace the ignition distributor on a 93 mx6 v6 pics?
To install the distributor on a 1991 Toyota pickup with a 3.0-liter V6, first disconnect the negative battery cable and remove any components obstructing access to the distributor. Align the engine to top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke for cylinder one, then carefully remove the old distributor by unscrewing the hold-down bolt. Install the new distributor by aligning the rotor with the correct position for cylinder one and securing it with the hold-down bolt. Finally, reconnect any components you removed, plug in the wiring harness, and reconnect the battery.
To install a distributor in a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a 3.8 V6 engine, first ensure the engine is off and cool. Remove any components obstructing access to the distributor, then disconnect the battery. Align the timing mark on the engine to the appropriate position, remove the old distributor, and carefully insert the new one, ensuring the rotor points to the correct cylinder. Finally, reconnect the battery and any removed components, adjusting the timing as necessary.
