Remove the shade and pull the bulb out (for plug-in style lamps). If it's a linear tube, it just slides out (grips on the bulb).
To remove and replace the bulb on your Floxite 14 10x daylight cosmetic mirror, first unplug the mirror for safety. Depending on the model, you may need to gently twist or pull off the bulb cover to access the bulb. Carefully remove the old bulb by twisting it counterclockwise, then insert the new bulb by twisting it clockwise until secure. i am guessing that you want to change the bulb and not the assembly. to remove the bulb just turn it to the left remove the old bulb replace in the assembly but this time turn it to the right.
Remove screws, remove light assembly, rotate bulb holder counterclockwise & pull out, replace bulb(# 194). Installation is reverse.....

depends on the car model. Go to your dealership and buy the correct light, they usually will replace the bulb free or for a low fee. Or, you can just buy the bulb and replace it yourself. On certain models you may have to remove the front end to get to the socket.
