Per Google maps the distance and time are 2,762 mi - about 1 day 17 hours. == == I-90 comes out of Seattle and can actually be driven non-stop all the way to Boston, so this would provide good time all the way up to Chicago when you hit the toll lanes. Although it should take approximately 44 hrs of actual drive time, the actual amount of time it takes to make the trip greatly depends upon the driver of course.

Do you drive long hours? Do you drive over the speed limit like every police officer enroute? Do you share your driving such as team drivers? As a solo truck driver, I can make the trip in 4 days. As a part of a driving team, the trip could be made in 3 days. I would repeatedly drive back and forth from San Francisco to Chelsea, MA (north side of Boston) each week (west coast to east coast back to west coast each week). So to summarize, the trip should be around 44 hours of actual drive time, or 4 days solo driving and 3 days team driving.
