The c6 is capable of handling 1300 hp , i have several in mud trucks and drag cars i`ve built in this hp range . It could possibly handle more( 2000hp ) but i havent been able to test on higher hp setups but this is something i plan on doing . The key is use the correct internal componets . I have been doing r&d on the c6 for several years and have found the " weak spots" , i also build or modify my own valve body and this is a big part of it holding up .I am a firm believer that the 3 spd will always be faster than a 2 speed because of the closer ratoi with 3 gear rather that 2 , you are able to run a higher diff ratio because of the lower 1st gear . No , just the automatic transmission has a torque converter
What is the Torque setting on transmission pan bolts 2002 ford ranger?
what is the torque on the bolts for the transmission pan on a 1991 ford thunderbird 3.8
The 1997 Ford Taurus torque converter solenoid can be found on the side of the transmission. The torque converter solenoid will be on the left hand side of the transmission.
The manual transmission from the Ford Probe GT 2.0L is not directly compatible with the 2.5L model from 1996. While both vehicles share some components, the 2.5L engine typically requires a transmission designed to handle its increased power and torque. Therefore, it's best to use the specific transmission matched to the engine variant for optimal performance and reliability.
The torque converter for an automatic transmission is inside the bellhousing area of the automatic transmission , the end of the transmission that is bolted to the engine
Pull the transmission and change it. The torque converter is inside the bell housing on the front of the transmission. Only way to get it out is to pull the transmission.
The 1997 Ford F-250 diesel pickup typically came with either a 4-speed automatic transmission (the E4OD) or a 5-speed manual transmission (the ZF S5-42). The E4OD was designed for heavy-duty use, providing improved durability and towing capabilities. The manual transmission option offered drivers more control, particularly for off-road and towing situations. Overall, both transmissions were suited to handle the power of the 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engine.

In a 2003 Ford Windstar, the torque converter serves as a crucial component of the automatic transmission system. It connects the engine to the transmission, allowing the vehicle to come to a stop while the engine is still running. The torque converter also multiplies engine torque during acceleration, providing a smoother transition of power from the engine to the wheels. Additionally, it helps improve fuel efficiency by enabling the engine to operate at optimal RPMs.
