Does the car make, awful noise that sounds like grinding gears? If so, then it's probably the starter. There's really only two options. Take it to a garage and pay them $300-$450 or go to NAPA etc., buy a new one for $150 and put it on yourself.
It is possible that a DTC 10 on the Toyota Camry is a problem with the starter. The starter solenoid, wiring, or the starter itself could be the problem.
Remove starter and bench test See if you are getting power to starter
Bad starter, bad starter solenoid, or the problem might not be the starter at all.
your battery is dead or the starter solenoid
yes! change the starter!
I means you have a battery problem or a starter problem or dirty/loose battery cable connections. If the battery is operating the starter and the starter is turning the engine over but the engine won't start and run, you may have a spark problem or a fuel problem.
That depends upon what the starter problem is. If the battery is exhausted, you can use another vehicle's battery, with jumper cables.
The starter is stuck or apparently engaged, replace the starter to eliminate your problem.
The starter relay or solenoid is probably the problem.
Might be you starter or starter rely and/or coil.
You should check the soleniod by the battery mounted on the fender if that is not the problem the it is probably the soleniod on the starter. Had the same problem on mine until i tap the soleniod on the starter.
Test your starter and starter coil and/or relay and that just might solve the problem i had servle cars had that problem.
