The relay has two plugs on both ends and speed connectors at the center. Plug in both plug into the Barnes and speed connectors to the bulb plug.
Don't know if having a ballast on each side will do any good, I have a kit for them with 9007's and a balast that plugs into the factory harness on each side, and it still tells me that my brights are on.
To install aftermarket HID headlights on an Infiniti G35 coupe, start by disconnecting the battery to ensure safety. Remove the headlight assembly by unscrewing the bolts and disconnecting the wiring harness. Install the HID bulbs into the headlight housing, connect the ballasts according to the manufacturer's instructions, and secure them in place. Finally, reassemble the headlight assembly, reconnect the battery, and test the lights to ensure proper functionality.
The relay harness redirects the power. So when you turn on your headlights, the ballast pulls power directly from the battery instead of having to go though the factory wiring of your car. And if your car did not come with hids from the factory, the wiring usually cannot handle the extra power going through the wires. Which could cause them to melt and possibly catch on fire in the worst cases. But even if your car came with hids and your just looking to upgrade or renew the kit. Getting a good relay harness is still better than factory wiring. The better the wiring to the hid ballast the brighter your headlights could be.
No, generaly the car lights cums with elargins if we want HID lights we can install...it
HID kits are illegal no matter what the "color temperature rating" is. It is illegal and unsafe to install HID bulbs into a headlamp that was not originally designed to accept them.
Yes, it is possible. I would look at www.carhidkits.com for your source for an HID kit. They have a HID set for all cards, including a Honda Civic.
First visit www.trailvoy.com We have all kinds of help for HID systems including a member that makes a DRL killer to help save your HID's from burnout.
Yes first you need to buy a sealed beam conversion kit and the get the h-4 hid kit
Don't. "HID kits" are widely available, but they are (all) illegal and dangerous. The only legitimate/safe/legal HID conversion is to install complete HID headlamp assemblies designed, built, tested, and certified as such. Halogen headlamps mustuse halogen bulbs.
To install an HID kit in a Lexus IS250, first, ensure the vehicle is off and disconnect the battery. Remove the headlight assembly by unscrewing the necessary bolts and unplugging the factory bulbs. Install the HID bulbs by connecting them to the ballasts, then secure the ballasts in a suitable location within the engine bay. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the lights to ensure proper functionality.
If you're smart, you don't. HID headlamps originally, legitimately designed and built as HID headlamps are the only legal ones. So-called "HID kits" to convert halogen headlamps are widely available, but they are (all) illegal and dangerous; halogen headlamps must use halogen bulbs or they don't (can't) give effective, legal safety performance. If you doubt this, google "Thinking of converting to HID?" and spend a few minutes reading some of the top hits. It's really, actually true despite the claims of those who make money endangering public safety by selling "HID kits".
