This happened to me on my 806 and the answer was to remove the fuel tank, remove the fuel pump from the tank and remove any debris found in and around the pump suction - there is only a small inlet port on the pump so any debris eventually ends up there and blocks the suction for the pump.Since doing that I've not had the thing stop suddenly with little warning in the middle of the road! The technical data of the engine of the 1978 Peugeot 305 GL includes a spark ignition 4-stroke engine and 59 hp. Its maximum speed is 144 km/h.
An ignition coil fault on a Peugeot 206 typically refers to a malfunctioning ignition coil, which is responsible for transforming the battery's low voltage into the high voltage needed to ignite the fuel-air mixture in the engine's cylinders. Symptoms of a faulty ignition coil may include engine misfires, rough idling, reduced power, and increased fuel consumption. This issue can lead to poor engine performance and may trigger the check engine light. Diagnosing and replacing the faulty ignition coil often resolves these problems.
Yes it has.
On a Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9, the ignition timing aperture is located on the engine block near the flywheel. Specifically, it can be found on the left-hand side of the engine, typically near the distributor. To check the ignition timing, you will need to connect a timing light to the appropriate wire and observe the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley.
The ignition timing sensor on a Peugeot 106 is typically located near the engine's flywheel or crankshaft, often mounted on the engine block. It may be positioned on the side of the engine, close to the timing belt or chain area. To access it, you may need to remove certain engine components, so consulting the vehicle's service manual for specific guidance is recommended.
