The GM motor casting number 33081 typically refers to a small-block V8 engine, specifically associated with the 5.0L (305 cubic inch) engine used in various Chevrolet vehicles during the 1980s and early 1990s. This casting number is often found on the engine block and can help identify the engine's specifications and production year. It's important for enthusiasts and restorers to know this number for accurate engine identification and parts compatibility.

what does the casting number GM 3892657 say about this engine block
402 Chevrolet
350 cu/in block used in GM Goodwrench Crate Motor. Made in Mexico.
What engine casting number is 14010207
The one I have with that block number (4097080) came from a Hyster forklift. Not sure, but believe it is the 188cid (not the 153cid).
if this is a GM motor there is a casting number on the top of the block behind the drivers side head,it is visible while the motor is installed on most vehicles, then all you need is a GM casting number book available at most automotive stores which also lists all engine component casting numbers and a range of vehicles they came on. Good luck
