The rod bolts that you use for this product are ACC 215 Rod bolts.
To properly tighten the truss rod, use a truss rod wrench to turn the rod clockwise to increase tension and straighten the neck of the guitar. Be sure to make small adjustments and check the neck's curvature as you go to avoid over-tightening.
Remove fuel lines, remove two bolts that hold fuel pump, if V/8 you may have to remove inspection plate to insert the push rod back up into the block. The plate has two bolts that hold it on. Remove with 7/16 wrench or socket. use some type of grease to hold the rod in the block. if the rod drops the fuel pump will not go back on. Tighten to bolts for the pump to 27 ft lbs and the plate bolts to 22 inch pounds. Reinstall fuel lines, tighten to 22 ft lbs.
You can not tighten a T-Rod end up. If it is loose then replace it.
