Yes, epoxy will stick to cured epoxy.
To replace the regulator on a 2006 Ford Fusion, you must engage a mechanic.
If they aren't closing all the way and you have manual windows you need to replace the regulator. If you have electric windows the gears in the window motor need to be replaced.
REMOVE THE DOOR PANEL once the door panel is off, disconnect the harness that is hooked to the power control switch, windows etc, after that you will see maybe 2-3 bolts on the door which holds the window regulator, unbolt those be careful of the window, you should have some screws that hold the glass to the regulator bracket, unscrew those to release the glass, you may want to use something to prop it up so it dont break, once you unbolt it slide the entire unit out, you will see the regulator and the motor, just unbolt the regulator and put the new one in and reverse the procedure.
A window regulator is a mechanical device in a vehicle that controls the movement of the windows, allowing them to be raised or lowered. It typically consists of a series of arms and a track that guides the window during operation. The window motor is an electric component that powers the regulator, providing the necessary force to move the window. Together, they enable the smooth operation of power windows in cars.
