Fan cooling sensor is located on the left sie of the motor block down by oil filter. Has two wire going to it can jump out wires to see if fan comes , if does fan control switch (sensor) is bad. Also try taking 12 volts from battery directly to fan to make sure fan motor is ok.
location of engine cooling fan sensor
Most vehicles locate that sensor close to the thermostat housing.
Where is the engine cooling fans sensor located on a 2000 Corvette ? Screwed in the driver side cyinder head just behind the Alternator. this is referred to as the temperature sensor. Hope this helps. Mike
On a 2002 Buick Rendezvous, the cooling fan control sensor is typically located near the engine's radiator or on the engine itself, often mounted on or near the thermostat housing. It monitors the engine temperature and communicates with the engine control module to regulate the cooling fan operation. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for precise location and details.

The cooling sensor, also known as the coolant temperature sensor, on a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora is typically located near the engine block, usually on the intake manifold or near the thermostat housing. This sensor monitors the temperature of the engine coolant and sends data to the engine control unit. For precise location, consulting a repair manual or service guide specific to the 1999 Aurora is recommended.
On a 2001 Subaru Outback with a 2.5-liter engine, the temperature sensor for the cooling fans is typically located near the engine's coolant outlet, often in the cylinder head or the radiator. This sensor monitors the engine's temperature and signals the cooling fans to activate when necessary to regulate engine temperature. It's important to consult the vehicle's service manual for precise location details, as there can be variations based on specific models and configurations.
On a 1994 Saturn, the cooling fan sensor, also known as the cooling fan relay, is typically located near the engine's coolant reservoir or mounted on the engine itself, often near the thermostat housing. It is responsible for monitoring the engine temperature and activating the cooling fan when needed. For precise location, consulting the vehicle's service manual or a repair guide can provide specific diagrams and details.
On a 1998 Commodore, the engine cooling fan sensor is typically located near the radiator or on the engine block. It is often positioned in the lower radiator hose or directly in the radiator itself, depending on the specific model and engine configuration. To access it, you may need to remove some components or covers for better visibility. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for precise location and instructions.
On a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix, the temperature sensor for the radiator cooling fans is typically located near the engine coolant outlet or in the engine block, often near the thermostat housing. This sensor monitors the engine temperature and signals the cooling fans to activate when the temperature reaches a certain threshold. It's important to consult the vehicle's service manual for the exact location and specifications, as there can be variations depending on the engine type.
engine cooling fan should not do this - bad temp sensor likely
The 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora cooling system temperature sensor can be found on the front of the engine. The sensor will be above the thermostat housing.
