It is usually above the float in the little bowl at the bottom of the carb.
You can use straight 30 weight oil or 10w30. I recommend synthetic for an air cooled engine.
Probably around 1/2 quart. Drain the oil and just put in enough to reach the full mark if it has a dipstick. If it has no dipstick then fill it up until oil runs out the fill hole.
My book for my John Deere snowblower , which has a 5 horsepower Tecumseh engine , shows to use the Champion RJ17LM spark plug
