On older Chevy engines, the oil pressure line connects on the block, behind the head on the 1,3,5,7 side of the engine. You'll see a small tapped hole.
First, gauge connect with pressure line and return line. then turn on engine. you will see the rate of flow and pressure on gauge.

On a 2000 Chevrolet K3500 with a 7.4-liter engine, the fuel pressure regulator is located on the fuel rail, which is positioned on the top of the engine. It is typically attached to the end of the fuel rail and is usually identifiable by a vacuum line connected to it. To access it, you'll need to remove any engine covers or components that may be obstructing your view. Always ensure the engine is off and properly depressurize the fuel system before attempting to service it.
On a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, the AC low pressure port is typically located on the larger diameter aluminum line that runs from the evaporator to the compressor. It is usually situated near the firewall on the passenger side of the engine bay. Look for a blue or black cap, which indicates the low pressure service port. Always ensure the engine is off and the system is safely depressurized before attempting to locate or connect to the port.
They may be marked "S" and "D" for suction (low side) and discharge (high side). A simpler way would be to look at the lines going into and out of the AC.... the smaller line will be the high pressure line, while the larger line will be the low pressure line. The low pressure line will connect at the compressor inlet, and the high pressure line will connect at the compressor outlet.
The 1940 chevrolet deluxe was powered by a 216 cubic inch In-line 6 cylinder. The engine was rated at 85hp @3400rpms.
you have 2 hoses .a pressure line and a return line .the pressure line is steel while the return is rubber hose.
There is a test port on the fuel line in back of the engine. You will need the proper adapter and gauge to connect to it. When you do connect to it, you will cycle the ignition on and off until the fuel pressure peaks. If the system is healthy you should have a reading of 60 to 66 psi and hold it.
There are 2 fuel lines. One is a pressure line to the injectors and the other is a return to the tank.
Your local parts dealer SHOULD have that. I purchased some high pressure fuel lines from NAPA just this week nope i even tried the Chevrolet dealerships
