pull the gauge cluster and check to make sure all the wires are hooked up. if not it will probably be the sending unit or even problems with the fuel pump. pull the gauge cluster and check to make sure all the wires are hooked up. if not it will probably be the sending unit or even problems with the fuel pump.

May be a lose connection at top center of tank for sending unit.. Or Rust has likely eaten into float or mechanism as with most early 80's Mazda Pickups. There is no aftermarket replacement for sending unit or fuel tank.. Good Luck!!!
Ah, finding the fuel filter on your 1986 Mazda B2000 can be a little adventure! It's usually located along the fuel line, between the gas tank and the engine. Take your time exploring under the hood and chassis, and remember, there's no mistakes, just happy little discoveries.

No, it is carburated. If you remove the air cleaner cover it will have a opening with a flap inside it.
I have an 89 Mazda b2200 and all i did was mess with the timing and it started to run better,a but a friend suggested that I pull the distributor shaft and turn it a notch.
Answer:My resources show that the fuel pump for the 1984 Mazda B2000 is an in-line electric type, mounted near the gas tank (outside of the tank, NOT inside). Check on top of driver frame rail above the front leaf spring eye.
how do i go about fixing my fuel gauge in my 1986 ford f150
If you have a short bed it is 14.6 gallons if you have a long bed(standard cab truck) it will be 15.6 gallons. The short bed is used on the standard cab and cabplus models.
I have worked on many engines, I would guess broken valve. Check every cylinder with a pressure gauge. If zero broken valve, if all have good pressure, timing. If timing good, fuel. maybe flooding.
