In a 2008 BMW 328xi AWD, the transmission oil dipstick is typically located near the back of the engine bay, towards the driver's side. However, it's important to note that many BMW models, including the 328xi, do not have a traditional dipstick for checking Transmission Fluid. Instead, transmission fluid levels are usually checked using a fill plug on the transmission itself, often requiring a professional service. Always consult the owner's manual for specific guidance on your vehicle.
It may not have one. For example, The 08 AWD Yaris has a closed transmission system. You will have to take it to a certified mechanic and have him check it for you.
just to the left of the battery ther is a plastic tube remove it and you will see the dipstick for the transmission. just a poor setup.
To check the automatic transmission fluid in a 2002 Saturn Vue 3.0 liter AWD, first ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is warmed up. With the engine running, locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually found near the back of the engine compartment. Pull the dipstick out, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then remove it again to check the fluid level. The fluid should be within the marked range on the dipstick; if it's low, add the appropriate transmission fluid as needed.
You can replace it but it is a job that requires a Ford dealer technician. This?æparticular transmission does not have a dipstick, it uses a bottom drain that requires a specific fill procedure to follow which run the risk of damaging your transmission or further issues.?æ
I have the same question on a 2006 Saturn Vue 3.5 v6 awd, it is supposed to be in the rear center of the engine but I haved looked everywhere and cannot find it.
No
To change the transmission fluid in a 2012 Subaru Impreza AWD with an automatic transmission, first ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and warm the engine slightly. Remove the transmission pan bolts and carefully lower the pan to drain the old fluid, then replace the filter if applicable. Reinstall the pan with a new gasket, refill the transmission through the dipstick tube using the recommended fluid, and check the level with the engine running. Finally, ensure there are no leaks and dispose of the old fluid properly.
You cannot "convert" an AWD transmission to 2WD or vice versa, you'd have to take the whole thing apart.
