When the cylinder was replaced, did you get new keys for it also? Using a worn key has this type of symptom regardless of the cylinder.
Physically has a turning problem ? Try your spare key and still has the problem? Replace the ignition switch.
check the ignition switch , it might be bad and may need to be replaced.

If the lock cylinder is worn out....sure.
Worn key or barrel, do you have a new key you can try it with ? If it still doesn't turn properly you got a worn ignition barrel that has to be replaced

i am having terrible trouble with a 2004 santa fe 4 cylinder motor causing cylinders 2 and 3 misfire then engine shutdown. it has been in the shop for over a week and had the timing belt, timing belt tensioners and pully replaced, and the cam shaft sensor replaced and still doing it. mechanic is looking into the ignition system "possibly plugs or wires or coil packs". have mechanic check the cam sensor and ignition system.. may help.
sounds like we are having the same type of issue, I replaced ignition Module and coil pack, and still no spark the last thing to change is the Computer.
