the distributor controlls the spark, if the spark is advanced, too much, or retarded too much, yeah. it will shake, or not even run.
the distributor doesnt usually go out, out of the blue.. if you took the cap off to check gap, or clean it, then put it on, and it is rough, yeah.. that may be it. but if it is out of the blue, running rough, you may want to check it for cracks, (cracks make gaps even hairline and the gaps make it run rough) you should also check the vacuum lines for cracks, and bad connections. the vacuum leaks will mess with the advancement of timing, and can also make it run rough.
but to answer the question, yes. a bad distributor can make the car shake.
Bad tires and bad alignment can cause the car to shake at certain speeds.
a bad engine
A clogged muffler can.
yes a tire being bad can cause a car to shake but it can also be caused by other things
Yes it will.
Bad engine cushions can make the engine shake. bad spark plugs cause malfunction as the car starts running.
It would be highly unlikely.
cause they do
if the distributor goes bad then u probably wont get a spark.
Yes, either can cause a shake while driving.
yes
Yes if the shocks are bad it can allow a shake to happen It will also put a lot more stress on other things and cause them to wear out very fast Worn shocks can also allow tires to wear improperly so that they will shake also.
