To fix the clutch cable on a 1998 Ford Laser, start by lifting the vehicle and securing it on jack stands for safety. Locate the clutch cable under the dashboard, disconnect it from the clutch pedal, and remove it from the engine bay by detaching any clips or brackets. Install the new cable by threading it through the same path, securing it to the pedal, and adjusting the tension as needed. Finally, test the clutch operation to ensure proper engagement and disengagement.
