What engine size? The rear wheel drive has 2 v6 engine sizes and the front wheel drive has 3 v6 engine sizes available for 1984.
The most common reason for an engine not to start is a lack of fuel. A plugged air filter can cause and engine to idle rough or not idle at all.
the fuel filter on that car should be under the car just in front of the passenger rear wheel
it is located on the driver side underneath the engine. its circular in look with two lines one leading to the carburetor. two bolts leading into the engine. also there is a rod inside the mechanical fuel pump.
driver side inside frame rail about under seat and possibly in the fuel tank to
5 quarts when you change the filter also.
If you look at the very front of the carbutetor You will see a medal fuel line that will screew into the front of the carb. You will need a 1'' and a 5/8 wrench to loosen and remove the fuel line from the 1" fitting, The fuel filter is behind the 1" fitting that screews into the carb. Remove it. You will see a filter and a small spring.Pay attention to how you remove the filter and spring.
yes same bolt pattern
Hey, I had the same probelm with my 84 300zx turbo. The fuel fitler is locates on the far left side of the car under the hood. Just look at your battery and it should be right in front of it. Hope this helps
I dont know for sure where the fuel filter is on an 88 accord,I used to own an 84 accord and it had 2 of them. One was the main located inside rear drivers side tire near gas tank.the backup was on drivers side in engine compartment on left side of carb..hope this helps.
Remove the old filter and make sure you remove the old gasket, there should only be 1 gasket.
under the steering column above the brake pedal
look at the back or front of the gas tank, just follow the gas line out of the tank and you will run into it.
