Remove a rock stuck next to your spark plug?

Buy a cheap ice pick. Using a vise or good pliers, bend it at the end at a 90 degree angle or so to make a hook. It should be strong enough to get the rock out. Otherwise pull the spark plug boot off, break the ceramic plug part, remove all broken fragments of rock and ceramic, then unscrew the rest of the broken plug and install a new plug.

How do you remove a broken spark plug from Dodge Grand Caravan?

With great difficulty. If you can get the ceramic part out of the plug, you need an easy-out and a torch. Heat the plug with the torch, then use the easy out to get the plug out. If that doesn't work, you'll have to pull the head and take it to a machinist.

What tools would one use to get a spark plug that is broken off on the engine?

It depends on where the plug is broken off.If just the ceramic part is broken you can just attach the socket to the lug and remove it normally. If the nut is broken and the rest is lodged in the hole you would use an ez-out.It threads into the remaining piece counterclockwise and when it bites into the remaining piece,it will thread it out of the block.Alot of auto parts stores have tools they will lend you to do this or you can buy an ez-out big enough to handle the job.

How do you remove a broken spark plug that the part the wrench conects to broke off and left the threads still in the block and the porceline is still in the threads?

To remove a broken spark plug with the porcelain still intact, first, ensure the engine is cool. Use a pair of needle-nose pliers or a spark plug extraction tool to carefully grasp and twist the remaining porcelain to break it free. Once the porcelain is removed, you can use a left-handed drill bit to drill into the center of the remaining plug, which may help to loosen it, or use an extractor tool designed for broken spark plugs. If these methods fail, consider consulting a professional mechanic to avoid damage to the cylinder head.

You broke a plug trying to remove it what is the best way to get it out?

Usually if you break a plug it is only the top white ceramic part. The only time this would be a problem is if your plugs are in the top of the head and down in a hole. They do make needle nose pliers long enough to reach down and get the plug. The ceramic part should have come out with the socket if using a regular spark plug socket. That would leave just the base. Take the socket and put a piece of tape on the inside of the socket on each face. Bring it out over the edge of the socket and onto the outside. This will make the socket enough smaller that it should hold on to the base of the spark plug so you can get it out.
