If the key makes a clicking sound when inserted, it could indicate several issues. The lock mechanism may be jammed or damaged, preventing the key from turning properly. Alternatively, the key itself might be worn or bent, affecting its fit in the lock. In either case, it’s advisable to avoid forcing the key and to consult a locksmith for further assessment.
