On a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu LS with a V6 engine, the low-pressure AC refill port is typically located on the larger diameter aluminum line that runs from the evaporator to the compressor. You can find it near the front of the engine compartment, close to the passenger side. The port is usually capped with a plastic cover, and it is important to ensure you use the correct refrigerant type when refilling.
The low pressure port for the a/c is below the alternator and against the firewall. To get to it you have to reach back below the alternator (you'll see some tubes/chords, so move those to see it). It'll have a blue cap with an "L" on it and it'll be about a foot down from the top.
on a 2000 Malibu it is on passengers side under alternater 3.1 v6, follow hose from ac you will find it.
passengers side about a foot down between firewall and engine!! it has an "L" on the cap.
In the back of the engine compartment, behind the engine, next to the fire wall.
You can refill your air conditioning system from the low pressure port on the air conditioner compressor. The low pressure port will be labeled as such.
on 2000 Malibu it is between firewall and engine on passenger side about a foot down it is marked with an "L".
The larger hose is low pressure
the low pressure valve is on the passenger side. follow low pressure line and you will see it
on 2000 3.1 it is on passengers side between engine and firewall, about 1 foot down..
I do not have a picture, but i can tell you were it is.it is on passenger side between engine and firewall, about 1 foot down!!
On a 2000 Pontiac Montana, the AC refill valve is typically located on the low-pressure side of the AC system. You can find it near the accumulator, which is usually positioned near the front of the engine compartment, close to the passenger side. The valve is often covered with a plastic cap, and it may be labeled with an "L" for low pressure. Always ensure the engine is off and the AC system is properly diagnosed before attempting to refill.
You always add freon to the low pressure side of the system. The low pressure side is always in the LARGE A/C line. On the 2000 Malibu it's against the firewall, look down between the firewall and the altenator, you will see the fitting down close to the bottom. Connect your line while the engine is off as the belt is very close. Good luck and be carefu!
