Explain the results in the sterilized and not-sterilized broth?

In the sterilized broth, microbial growth is inhibited because the heat treatment destroyed any existing microorganisms. In the not-sterilized broth, microbial growth may occur due to the presence of viable microorganisms that can proliferate in the nutrient-rich environment. This difference in growth is typically observed through changes in turbidity or visible growth in the not-sterilized broth compared to the clarity of the sterilized broth.

What is the different between bactericidal and bacteriostatic?

BACTERIOCIDE: The agent which kill bacteria is called bacteriocidal it can be done by heat of any chemical. BACTERIOSTATIC: The agent which inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria but do not necessasarily kill the bacteria.

What are signs of growth in liquid medium?

THE PRESENCE OF A GREEN SLIME OR THE GROWTH OF ALGEA. Onother view: If talking about liquid broth medium in laboratory then it can be estimated by the increase in turbidity which is caused by increase in number of microbial cell and we can observe it by spectroscopy.

What Happened In Experimental Group In Spallanzani's Experiment?

In Spallanzani's experiment, the experimental group received boiled broth that was then sealed from external contamination. This group did not exhibit the growth of microorganisms, providing evidence against spontaneous generation.

What had happened to the bacteria in the clear area around the paper disc soaked in spot lotion?

The bacteria in the clear area around the paper disc soaked in the spot lotion were likely killed or inhibited from growing. The spot lotion contains chemicals that are effective against bacteria, creating a zone of inhibition where bacterial growth is suppressed.

Does color effect the growth of a crystal?

Yes, I found out that the less color a crystal has the more it will grow.

Does water plants grow in murky water or clear water?

Water plants can grow in both murky and clear water. Murky water may contain more nutrients and sediments which can help plants grow, but water clarity is not the only factor that affects plant growth. Light availability, nutrient levels, and water temperature also play important roles in the growth of water plants.

Why is water kept in colored bottles?

Water is sometimes kept in colored bottles to protect it from sunlight, which can promote the growth of algae and bacteria. Colored bottles help to block out harmful UV rays and prevent the water from becoming contaminated.

How can I effectively clear roots from soil to ensure proper growth of my plants?

To effectively clear roots from soil for proper plant growth, gently dig around the roots with a shovel or fork, being careful not to damage them. Remove any large roots that are obstructing growth, and loosen the soil to allow for better root development. Consider using a root pruning tool for more precise removal.
