Urethra
The part of the urethra within the urogenital diaphragm is called the membranous urethra. It is a short segment of the urethra that passes through the urogenital diaphragm, which is a sheet of muscle and connective tissue located between the pelvic cavity and perineum.
The portion of the urethra between the prostate and penis is called the membranous urethra. It is a short segment located in between the prostatic and spongy parts of the urethra. It passes through the urogenital diaphragm before continuing through the penis.
The narrowest part of the male urethra is the external urethral meatus, which is the opening at the tip of the penis where urine and semen exit the body. It is the most constricted part of the urethra and can be prone to blockages or infections.
The act of measuring the circumference of the urethra with a urethra gauge is called urethra gauging, an assessment performed by a health-care provider. The act of dilating the size of the urethra with a urethra sound is called urethra sounding, an intervention performed by a health-care provider.Urethra sounds are used to dilate the size of the urethra, usually performed by a urology specialist (urologist). This process of urethra sounding is performed on patients with urethra strictures as an intervention. This process of dilating the urethra differs from the measurement process in that the process of urethra sounding is an intervention. The process of urethra gauging is an assessment. Urethra gauges are used by doctors, nurses, and physician assistants to measure the circumference of the urethra prior to insertion of a urinary catheter, indwelling urinary catheter/Foley catheter. However, patients that undergo urinary catheterization without first the use of a urethra gauge are more likely to require the services of a urologist to circumvent further complications of improper urinary catheterization.
A flexible rubber or plastic catheter is then inserted into the urethra, and dye is injected into the catheter.
Urethral pellets is a medication used to treat patients who have erection problems after having prostate cancer. This medication is very rarely prescribed to patients since other medications or treatment usually work better.
to establish a diagnosis for individuals, almost exclusively men, who may have structural problems of the urethra.

The prostatic or membranous urethra
Dilating the urethra is done when there is a stricture (abnormal narrowing) of the urethra in order to make the urethra wider.
The urethra.
The ejaculatory duct opens into the prostatic part of the urethra, specifically where the prostatic urethra meets with the membranous urethra. This junction is located within the prostate gland.
The urethra; it is located between the clitoris and the vaginal introitus in the vulva.
urethra basically near the penis but its the urethra
Urethra has three regions in males, the prostatic urethra, membranous urethra, and the spongy urethra.
