The term transexual means that a surgery has been done that removes the male penis and testicles which have been replaced with a vagina. Sperm is produced in the testicles. When they are gone, so is the sperm. Now I am aware that some people who consider themselves to be transexual are pre-op, that is they still have the male Plumbing and are waiting for the surgery. Yes, that person would have sperm.
Transsexual individuals who have undergone male-to-female transition may not produce sperm, as this process often involves hormone therapy that can result in infertility. However, some transsexual individuals who have not undergone this transition may still be able to produce sperm.
Sperm production is controlled by hormones such as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) released by the pituitary gland in response to signals from the hypothalamus. FSH stimulates sperm production in the testes, while LH regulates testosterone production by the interstitial cells in the testes, which is essential for sperm maturation.
The oval shaped glands that control sperm production are called testes. They are located in the scrotum and are responsible for producing sperm and sex hormones, such as testosterone, in males.
FSH and LH are gonadotrophins. They are secreted by pitutory.
Sperm is produced in the testes through a process called spermatogenesis. The testes secrete hormones that stimulate this production. Once sperm are fully formed, they are released through ejaculation during sexual intercourse.
Male to Female transsexuals cannot give birth, however they can have sperm frozen (just like any other biological male) and have children (with a biological female) via insemination or IVF treatment. Female to Male transsexuals can (and do) get pregnant and give birth, as long as they haven't had any genital transgender surgery, and they reverse some of their hormonally induced changes - that means stopping Testosterone and taking female hormones to naturalise their body to that of a naturally fertile female.
Transsexuals can be male OR female.
The male gonads (testes) produce sperm cells and hormones, such as testosterone.
i don't know about the ova but the hormones that are responsible for stimulating sperm production are Gonadotropin, Follicle Stimulating Hormone, testosterone and Luteinizing. Hope that helps.
It depends on what you're asking exactly. Male to female transsexuals may be able to impregnate a woman providing that they have not been castrated and that hormone therapy has not rendered them sterile. Female to male transsexuals cannot impregnate women or be impregnated without the use of an outside sperm donor.

hormones
Unless you had cancer of the testicles, cancer does not lower sperm count directly, but it is possible if you had a type of cancer that produced hormones, but it would be very uncommon for a cancer to produce sex hormones.
FSH it is produced by the potouatarey gland in the brain
The body controls the menstrual cycle by adjusting various hormones. These hormones include estrogen, progesterone, oxytocin, and testosterone.
Males have testicles to produce sperm, testosterone and other important hormones.
