Anerobic
It is called anaerobic respiration.
Another term is fermentation: either ethanolfermentation (by yeasts and plants) or lactic acidfermentation, for example by people running for a bus!
Some people do not use the terms anaerobic respiration and fermentation interchangeably. For some discussion, see the link below.
I have this question too! :) I made my teacher tell me the answer... It is fermentation.
Fermentation!
Fermentation.
Anerobic
The process by which producers and consumers release stored energy from food molecules is respiration.
The process of cellular respiration breaks down food molecules to release stored energy. When cells break down food molecules energy is temporarily stored in ATP molecules.
Cellular respiration is the specific cellular process that breaks down food to make energy. Catabolism is the general process that breaks molecules down to release energy.

Active transport is the process of molecules being moved across a membrane using energy. Passive transport moves the molecules without using energy.

Respiration is the series of chemical reactions used to release energy stored in food molecules. it is also the process by which producers and consumers release stored energy from food molecules.
Cellular respiration is the process by which energy is released from food molecules and stored in molecules of ATP, the energy currency of the cell. Without ATP cells could not function.
