The three main parts of the brain are the central core, limbic system, and the cerebral cortex. Briefly their functions are; the central core controls involuntary functions such as breathing, pulse, etc., the limbic system regulates blood pressure, temperature, blood sugar levels, etc. and the cerebral cortex is where your emotions, thoughts, reasoning and judgement take place.

Parietal lobe: it creates touch

Occipital lobe: it lets you see things

Temporal lobe: it lets you hear things

Cerebellum: it controls muscle movement and balance

Medulla (Brain Stem): keeps your body temperature, heart rate, breathing, and digestive system in tune
