if their where no planet we be lucky if their was 5 years worth of air for us to breath.

They are beneficial because of the photosynthesis, which as well as giving food to them, allows them to continue growing and take in carbon DIOXIDE, which the leafs when fallen give back out.

They are also full of vitamins and minerals!
