not an epert but here is what I know:

Low Lactic dehydrogenase means that you have low concentration of the enzyme that converts pyruvate (end product of glycolysis) into Lactate. This reaction occures when there is low or no oxygen levels (anaerobic conditions) and during times when our body needs energy (ATP) fast. EX. Sprinting away from a car chasing you.

So having low lactic dehydrogenase would mean ultimately having low energy levels.

What causes a critically low lactic acid level?

A critically low lactic acid level can be caused by conditions such as liver disease, certain genetic disorders, or medications that interfere with lactic acid production. In some cases, it may indicate a severe underlying medical condition that requires further investigation and treatment.

How does lactic acid affect heart rate?

What is the process that makes lactic acid in muscles?

During intense exercise, when the body is low on oxygen, glucose is broken down into pyruvate through a process called glycolysis. Pyruvate is then converted into lactic acid by the enzyme lactate dehydrogenase in the muscles. This process helps regenerate NAD+ so that glycolysis can continue to produce energy in the absence of oxygen.
