DNA which is in the nucleus of the cell is responsible for such protein like weather it is recessive or dominent such as hair colour,eye colour rRNA makes the exact copy of that of the DNA. rRNA is single stranded when rRNA receive the copies of DNA it gives to tRNA

A cell must copy it DNA before mitotic cell division so that the two new daughter cells each has an exact copy of the original cell's DNA. Each cell needs the same DNA as the parent cell so that it can carry out its life functions.

Double stranded DNA is more stable than single stranded DNA. Also it allows for correction of broken parts of the strand by using the unbroken complement as a template.
