A film camera costs more to operate, you've got to develop the film and you've got to be careful about the light.

OTOH, a digital camera whose images can be blown up to the size of the side of a pickup without falling apart is going to cost far more than $95, which is what I paid a pawn shop for the 35 I've been using for enlargements like that.
