if you think you may have a food allergy, best thing to do is get tested. see your doctor about your concerns. they will be able to do a test to confirm what you are alergic to and to what degree. once you know that, you'll be able to work your food around your Allergies. somethings you will have to cut out completly, others may only affect you a bit so will be ok to have sometimes.

What do you call the molecules which make reactions work such as the breakdown of food molecules?

Enzymes are the molecules responsible for catalyzing biochemical reactions, including the breakdown of food molecules. They act as biological catalysts by lowering the activation energy required for these reactions to occur.

What are the uses of exothermic reactions?

Self-heating food packaging uses exothermic reactions to warm food. Usually, the substances like calcium oxide or quicklime are utilized to react with water and warm the food. The product of this reaction is calcium hydroxide.

What is the difference between chemical synthesis and breakdown reactions?

Chemical synthesis involves combining molecules to form new, more complex structures, while breakdown reactions involve breaking down molecules into simpler components. In synthesis reactions, energy is usually required, while in breakdown reactions, energy is typically released. Overall, synthesis reactions build larger molecules, whereas breakdown reactions break down larger molecules into smaller ones.

How does the process of cooking involve chemical reactions?

When cooking, chemical reactions occur as heat is applied to ingredients, causing molecules to break down and rearrange. This can change the color, texture, and flavor of the food. For example, proteins denature and sugars caramelize, creating new compounds that give food its cooked taste.

A series of chemical reactions that converts energy stored in food to a more useful form?

Cellular respiration is the process by which energy stored in food molecules is converted into ATP, a usable form of energy for cells. This process involves a series of reactions that take place in the mitochondria of cells. Oxygen is typically required for the complete oxidation of food molecules and the production of ATP.
