You use a magnet, the magnet will remove the iron filings.
hi hi,
what you can do is that, get a strong magnet and place it above the mixture. The iron fillings will be attracted to the magnet since it is a magnetic material. In the end you'll be left with salt only (:
If you have a mixture of salt, sand, and iron filings, you can remove the iron filings with a magnet, since the salt and sand are not magnetic, and you can then dissolve the salt, leaving behind the sand which is not soluble in water (if you need to have the salt in its original form, you can then boil away the water in which you dissolved it).
1. Iron is separated using a magnet.
2. Dissolving the mixture and filtering, pepper is separated - remaining on the filter.
3. Salt and sugar are separated by crystallization and recrystallization.
Use a magnet. Iron filings will be attracted to the magnet and pepper will not. Repeat this several times to be sure you get them all.
Iron ca be extracted with a magnet; salt is dissolved in water and by filtration is separated from sand - by water evaporationsoild salt is obtained again. Sand remain on the filter.

All you have to do is put a magnet over the mess of sawdust and iron fillings and the iron fillings will get stuck to the magnet. Then their seperated
you would use the iron's magnestism to extract it with a magnetic tube
Iron fillings can be extracted with a magnet.
The easiest way is with a magnet. It'll attract the iron and not the copper. If you're on a higher budget, the difference in the melting point could help.
Use a magnet to lift out the iron filings.

use a magnet - the iron fillings are metalic so they will stick to the magnet leaving the pepper behind.
a magnet will pull the iron out of the black pepper
use a magnet
A magnet will cause the iron to adhere and separate. Or adding water will dissolve the sugar and the iron can be filtered out and then the water evaporated from the sugar.

Either use a strong magnet to attract iron files away from the sugar. Or, dissolve the sugar in water and pour off the sugary liquid, leaving the iron filings behind.
use a magnet :)
Use an electromagnet.
