As per the modified Periodic Table, the fourth element after oxygen considering their atomic weights is Ca and thus if the atomic weight of oxygen is considered to be as 16, therefore the atomic weight of Ca is 20
An oxygen molecule is diatomic ie. it has two atoms (O2). As the Atomic Mass of a single oxygen atom is indeed 16, the molecular mass of O2 is (2 x 16) = 32.

Atomic weights refer to ATOMS. Water is a MOLECULE made up of 3 atoms, it therefore does not have an atomic weight, it has a MOLECULAR weight. You calculate the molecular weight by adding up the atomic weight of all the atoms in the molecule.Waster is made up from 1 atom of Oxygen (atomic weight 16) and 2 atoms of Hydrogen (atomic weight 1)16+1+1 = 18The molecular weight of water is therefore 18.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The atomic mass of H is 1.008, and the atomic mass of O is 16.So 1.008*2+16=18.016
The relative atomic mass of sulfur is 32. And for oxygen, it is 16. Therefore the molecular weight of sulfur dioxide is 64 g/mol.
The ozone molecule (O3) has 3 oxygen atoms.
You add together the atomic weights of all the atoms (as given by its chemical formula) in the molecule
Water vapor molecules are heavier than some gasses and lighter than others. The weight is based on their molecular weight which is the total of the atomic weights of the atoms in the molecule. The atomic weight of an atom is the total number of protons and neutrons in the atom. Some examples: Oxygen gas (O2) has has a molecular weight of 32 (two oxygen atoms each weighing 16) . Hydrogen gas (H2) is 2 (two hydrogen atoms each weighing 1). Water vapor (H2O) molecules have a molecular weight of about 18. Helium (He) has molecular weight of 18. Carbon Dioxide gas (CO2) is 44.
The molecular weight is the sum of the atomic weights of all the atoms contained in the molecule.

It's much simpler than you're probably thinking. You use the term gram atomic weight for atoms, and the term gram molecular weight for molecules. That's all. The gram molecular weight of a molecule is the sum of the gram atomic weights of the atoms making up that molecule.
The formula weight for O3 is the same as the molecular weight which is taking all the elements, multiplying its mass, and then adding the products. Oxygen's mass is 16 g on the periodic table & there's three of them so: 16x3= 48 g (molecular weight) = This is your Formula weight. Hope that helped.
The relative atomic mass of sulfur is 32. And for oxygen, it is 16. Therefore the molecular weight of sulfur dioxide is 64 g/mol.
The molecular weight of carbon is 12.0107 g/mol, or grams per molecule. This is calculated by dividing the total weight of the atom by the weight of all the atomic mass units and multiplying by 100.
The molecular weight of acetic acid (CH3CO2H) can be calculated from the component atomic weights of each of the atoms present in the molecule. In this particular example (C2H4O2) there are: 2 Carbon atoms with molecular weight of 12.01 = 24.02 4 Hydrogen atoms with molecular weight of 1.008 = 4.032 2 Oxygen atoms with molecular weight of 16.00 = 32.00 Therefore the total molecular weight of Acetic acid = 60.05 grams per mole
Salt can't have an atomic weight because it is not an atom : it is a molecule composed of two atoms. The molecular weight of common salt is approx. 58.4 amu
The atomic number of Oxygen is eight (8) The atomic weight of O is 15.9994 grams per mole. Oxygen gas exists as a diatomic molecule: O2.
The ozone molecule (O3) has 3 oxygen atoms.
You add together the atomic weights of all the atoms (as given by its chemical formula) in the molecule
The atomic mass of chlorine is 35.5. A chlorine molecule has two chlorine atoms. Therefore its molecular mass is 71u.
