When urine smells like ammonia, it could indicate a high concentration of waste products in the body, possibly due to dehydration or a urinary tract infection. It is important to consult a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis and treatment.
The most common cause of having an ammonia smell in your nose is your diet. People who have a high protein and low carbohydrate diet can smell ammonia and their sweat can actually smell like ammonia too.
If you mean like high amount of urine: Polyuria. If you mean like high amount of particles inside the urine: High specific gravity = your urine may have high levels of glucose, protein, bilirubin, urobilinogen, or/and a lot of mucus, crystals, bacteria, and tissue/blood cells.
When attached to a carbon chain, it is called an amine and when attached to carbonyl carbon it is called an amide as anion NH2 it accures as sodamide NaNH2, which is prepared by adding sodium metal in liquid ammonia does not occur on its own.
Compressed ammonia refers to ammonia gas that has been pressurized and stored in a compressed state. This allows for a higher density of ammonia to be stored in a smaller space, making it easier to transport and handle.
I am guessing that you mean hydrochloric acid, and the reaction is ammonia plus hydrochloric acid gives ammonium chloride; NH3 + HCl => NH4Cl
Yes, if your urine smells like ammonia, it does mean that there is something wrong. It is likely that you either have a bladder infection or urinary stones and you should pay a visit to your doctor.
That's the smell of urea, which is a nitrogenous end product and therefore, a waste. This, mixed with water, is what forms urine.
Sweat that smells like urine has ammonia. This means your body is losing nitrogen. Drink more water and the nitrogen will go into your urine rather than your sweat. You should also eat more or drink more carbohydrates.
My urine often smells like that but i don't know what it means but get checked out at the doctor's
This is a perfectly normal phenomenon.
Have the dog stop eating crowbars
When your urine smells like garlic, it could mean different things. However, try drinking a lot of water to flush out any toxins and if it persists, see a doctor.
one of two things the baby is dehydrated or they have been wet for a long while. the older a the urine gets the more it small of ammonia. if this is for a microbiology class, the answer is because ammonia is a bi product of urea catabolism (the breakdown of proteins). Urea is excreted as ammonia through urine in baby's children and adults. So basically if anyone wet themselves while wearing a diaper you would have a large concentration of urine containing ammonia in one place.
NO
Do you really think that's good, like why? I mean, really. But yes, it is safe to breath.
Your urine shouldn't have a really noticeable smell to it. Are you sure it's a bleach smell...possibly an ammonia smell? If so maybe you should drink a whole lot more water to dilute it and if you drink sodas maybe lay off of them for a while. You can get bad bladder infections if your urine is too strong. I know water is not very yummy though! Lol
It smells like butter.
