You should probably refrain from doing so unless your psychiatrist has told you otherwise. It is not completely clear whether or not Concerta can be taken with Clonidine, but I can assure you that it is a risk. There have been some reports concerning serious incidents due to interaction with Methylphenidate (Concerta) and Clonidine. It is always best to only do as your mental health expert has instructed concerning medication, as you will stay safer and reduce the risk of harm to yourself.

I was on Clonidine as a child from the time I was first diagnosed ADHD at age 6. I was on Ritalin during the day and because it is a stimulant it caused insomnia which then Clonidine was added. I did much better in school after I had a full night sleep. I wonder if Ritalin was even necessary since improvement wasn't even noticeable until the Clonidine was added. I think if lack of sleep is disrupting the child's life (i.e. behavior and/or school) then Clonidine should be an option.

The next day, however, is going to be the most boring day of you life. And secondly, have you taken PM before? It suck. I have taken it far too many times. I doesn't put you to sleep, it doesn't make you feel rested, it does nothing. There is nothing to worry about coming down from Concerta.
