32 dollars
If it's dated 1934, about $70-$80. 1934A, about $80-$90. When Hawaii was attacked at the start of WW2, the Treasury took quantities of 1934-dated bills and overprinted them for use within the territory of Hawaii. The idea was that these bills could be quickly demonetized if the islands were invaded, preventing their use by the Japanese.
It's not possible to describe one because there are no 1968-date US bills. The closest date would be 1969. All 1969 $100 bills have the same design. Franklin's portrait is in a small oval frame in the center of the bill's front side. The number 100 appears in each corner, and the edges are framed by ornate scrollwork. The back has the familiar portrait of Independence Hall, again framed by scrollwork. The bill's colors are green and black, very unlike modern bills with blue, green, and copper colors.
Please check again and post a new question. The US didn't print any $1 bills dated 1986, and the last $1 silver certificates were in the 1957 series. All $1 bills printed since 1963 are Federal Reserve Notes, as can be seen from the banner across the top of the bill's front.
All US bills printed from the late 1920 until the late 1980s have almost identical design themes on the front. A 1974 $50 bill has a small oval portrait of Ulysses S. Grant in the center of the front side. The number 50 appears in each corner of the bill and the edges are framed with ornate scrollwork. The reverse has the familiar portrait of the US Capitol, but again smaller than current bills and surrounded by scrollwork. The colors are green and black, unlike current bills that are red, white, blue, and green.
Very definitely. These bills show a picture of former Chief Justice John Marshall on the front, and a vignette of DeSoto Discovering the Mississippi in 1541 is on the back.
This is a Sacagawea $1 dollar coin but there is no gold in it.The coins are still in circulation today.Value is $1.00.
Please don't assume that just because a bill is old it must be a silver certificate. The 1963 series of $2 bills were only printed as red-seal United States Notes, as indicated by the banner across the front of the bill, and the last silver certificates were blue-seal $1 bills dated 1957. There's more information the at question "What is the value of a 1963 US 2 dollar bill?".
I have a confederate 100 dollar bill dated feb 17th 1864. I know it is not a copy.it has 10856 on the front and richmond. can you tell me the value?
The $500 bills that were produced from 1928 - 1934 have Presesident William McKinley on the front and just a 500 printed on the reverse.
These bills are called silver certificates rather than "paper silver dollars". However the last silver certificates were dated 1957. As you can see from the green Treasury seal and the words across the top front of the bill, you have a standard Federal Reserve Note which is only worth $1.

Grover Cleveland's face appears on the US Thousand Dollar bill. He was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States.MoreThe last $1000 bills were dated 1934 but were printed as late as 1945. In an effort to combat organized crime distribution of bills larger than $100 was halted in 1969 by a presidential order. Large-value bills were never withdrawn so technically you could still spend them, but most would be worth more than face value to a collector.
