I am a huge minecraft fan ;D and I have often pondered this question myself. However, whilst diamonds are the 'Hardest' mineral on Earth it is impossible to create a a solid sword out of them. The engineering used to create swords simply is not suitable for this kind of material. As well as this, whilst diamond is the 'hardest' mineral it is not strong enough to withstand the lateral force of another blade colliding will it and would shatter.
Whilst a sword blade could not be made completely of diamonds, very very thin layers of diamond on the edges of the blade may be effective. :)
Hope this helped you.

The largest raw diamond ever found fit into the palm of a grown man's hand. (The Cullinan diamond, gifted to the British Monarchy in the early 1900s.) What this means is that you probably won't be able to find a raw stone large enough from which to craft a sword. However, even though the practical creation of a diamond-bladed sword is not currently possible, it is possible to shape diamonds in such a way as to cut other objects. In fact, most diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and other hard precious and semiprecious stones are cut using diamonds. If we ever discover an effective way to create artificial diamonds, diamond swords could become a possibility.
Diamonds may be the hardest natural substance known to man but it is not that strong. If you hit a diamond with a hammer the diamond will break. Not a very effective weapon if the other person is carrying a sword. Then you have to take into account that you would need a diamond big enough to make the sword.People have found industrial diamonds big enough for a dagger or short sword, but a one hand or long sword? No! Also, the melting point of diamond is so high, it is not really possible to soften it enough to actually make the sword. If some one slashed at you with a steel sword, and you parried with the diamond sword, the results would be a steel sword with a 1 inch nick/dent in it, and a bunch of diamond dust. You could make a steel sword and serrate the edge with sharpened diamonds. It would be cool looking, sharp, and strong. It would still cost a fortune, but much less then a sword made completely of diamond.Another AnswerFlaws in industrial diamonds make them much easier to break apart, and much harder to fabricate in single forms.Making a sword out of diamond is impractical, if you intend to use the sword as a weapon.
You can make a diamond sword in Minecraft by placing two diamonds above a stick in the crafting table.
That depends on the electrical conductivity; however, "diamonds cut diamonds." ;)
anythings possible
Crouching is not possible in Skyward Sword.
It is possible if you are really strong. The Viking sword will weigh two or three times more.
No, it is not possible for many small diamonds to melt and combine into one large diamond. The crystal structure of diamonds does not allow for this type of fusion.
Yes
No, sadly, someone is fooling you with this idea. It is not possible to convert peanuts into diamonds.
No because if you do that when you put the sword on the rock it ain't gonna make a crack
Diamonds are valued by cut, colour, clarity and colour. Without those details, pricing 19 diamonds is not possible.
