  • Beat Mankind on August 23, 1999 on an Episode of Raw is War. ( Shane McMahon was the special guest referee ). ( First Reign )
  • Won a Six-Pack Challenge match, also involving The Rock, Mankind, The Big Show, The British Bulldog and Kane. This was on September 26, 1999 at the Unforgiven Pay-Pew View. ( Second Reign )
  • Beat The Big Show on the January 3, 2000 episode of Raw is War. ( Third Reign )
  • Beat The Rock in a 60-minute Iron Man match, which Triple H won 6-5 with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee. This match was fought on May 21, 2000 at the Judgement Day PPV. ( Fourth Reign )
  • Beat Chris Jericho at the March 17, 2002 WrestleMania X8 PPV. ( Fifth Reign )
  • Beat Randy Orton on October 7, 2007 No Mercy PPV. ( Sixth Reign )
  • Won a Fatal-Four Way Elimination match, involving Randy Orton, John Cena and John "Bradshaw" Layfield. The match took place on April 27, 2008 at the Backlash PPV. ( Seventh Reign )

  • Triple H was awarded the championship by the on-screen General Manager Eric Bischoff, making him the inaugural champion in the process. He was awarded the World Heavyweight Title on the September 2, 2002 of RAW. Triple H defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion Kane on October 20, 2002 at No Mercy to unify the Intercontinental Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship. ( First Reign )
  • Triple H defeated Shawn Michaels in a 3 Stages Of Hell match at the December 15, 2002 Armageddon PPV. ( Second Reign )
  • He defeated Goldberg and Kane in a Triple Threat match to capture the Championship at the December 14, 2003 Armageddon PPV. ( Third Reign )
  • Defeated Randy Orton at the September 12, 2004 Unforgiven PPV. ( Fourth Reign )
  • Triple H defeated Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Batista, and Edge in an Elimination Chamber match with Shawn Michaels as Special Guest Referee to win the vacant championship. This took place on January 9, 2005 at the New Years Revolution PPV. ( Fifth Reign )
