You gotta pop the cover off with a screwdriver, remove the retaining nut, then you need to use a puller either specifically for steering wheels or a harmonic balancer puller to separate the steering wheel from the column.

What does the red steering wheel warning indicator on the dash mean?That red light in the shape of a steering wheel is a fault with your power steering!if it is just your ECU (Electrical Control Unit) that is the problem you shud b ok...if its your torque sensors...your in trouble as u have to replace the whole steerin column (£4-600 depending on where u buy and where u have it fitted)
my steering rack is leaking fluid ,can this be easily repaired. Or do i need a new steering rack?

that all depends on which light.....if it looks like an exclamation mark in brackets then you should check your brake fluid levelif it looks like a steering wheel then you may be in trouble...as it is the power steering at fault...very costly if its anything more than the ECU (electrical control unit) as u have to replace the whole steering column (between 4 and £600 depending on where u buy part and who fits it
